Meet Our Dentist

Dr. Lynn McMullan was born and raised in Birmingham, AL. She attended John Carroll Catholic High School and went on to attend Auburn University, where she obtained a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. During her studies, she was fortunate enough to spend time in Australia as an International Student Volunteer. Here, she gained a love for travel

and brought home a renewed desire to create meaningful, supportive relationships within her community. 

Dr. McMullan completed her dental education at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry, where she earned her DMD. Her love of education has led her to advanced studies in areas of implants, endodontics, clear aligners, facial aesthetics, and cosmetic dentistry. Following graduation, Dr. McMullan began her career in private practice serving the over-the-mountain communities and has continued to do so for the past eight years. During this time, she has established herself as one of the more proficient clinicians in the state in the areas of digital dentistry. 

Dr. McMullan is happily married to her husband Forrest, who served full-time in the Alabama Army National Guard. They have two young sons, two cats, and a dog. In her spare time, Dr. McMullan enjoys discovering new hiking trails, evenings filled with crafting, good books, and pleasant conversations by the water with family and friends.

Dr. McMullan is proud to carry on the legacies of Dr. Vail and Dr. Webb and is deeply committed to a patient-focused dental experience. She looks forward to enhancing your care with advanced technology, a welcoming atmosphere, and a continued focus on your individual needs.

Dr. Webb grew up in Birmingham, Alabama. She attended the University of Alabama with a major in nursing. She was a member of the Crimson Cabaret Dance Team (Roll Tide!). She graduated from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 2002. Dr. Webb is a member of the Alabama Dental Association and the American Dental Association. She has a certificate from the University of Alabama Oral and Maxillofacial training program for Botox and Juvederm administration, as well as Sleep Complete Certification to treat Sleep Apnea and snoring cases through device therapy.

Dr. Webb is an active member of First Baptist Church of Birmingham. She sings in the choir and is on the missions committee. She enjoys practicing Tae Kwon Do, in which she holds a black belt. Dr. Webb also enjoys fishing, dancing, gardening, and golf. She is a proud supporter of our military and first responders. Dr. Webb is married to her husband, Rodney and they have three beautiful fur-babies, Barney, Charlie, and George.  

Dr. Webb believes that a confident, healthy smile will improve your overall physical, mental, and emotional health, as well as, creating a positive impact on the well-being of the people around you. 

Dr. Vail, the dentist at Homewood Family & Cosmetic Dentistry grew up in Huntsville, AL, and graduated with honors from the University of North Alabama with a B.S. in Advanced Biology. She received her degree from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 2001. Dr. Vail is a member of the Alabama Dental Association and American Dental Association. She holds a certificate from the University of Alabama Oral and Maxillofacial training program for Botox and Juviderm administration as well as, Sleep Complete Certification to treat Sleep Apnea and Snoring cases thru device therapy.

Dr. Vail is an active member of the community, donating time and money to the local schools and local sporting organizations. She and her family attend Dawson Memorial Church. She is married to Tyler and they have four sons: Griffin, Carter, Drew, and Cannon. Dr. Vail is convinced that changing smiles, changes lives.
